Hoi An local food and City Tour

Hoi An is known as the Venice of the East because it is on the banks of the Thu Bon River and there are canals that cut through the town.  It is without doubt one of the most charming towns in the world.  It is the only city in Vietnam where the store owners are required by law to hang lanterns outside their shops.  At night the soft glow of these lanterns reflected in the Thu Bon River is a beautiful, peaceful sight.Hoi An is an old trading port which operated between the fifteenth and nineteenth century.  It is now a UNESCO heritage site.  It is also one of the most popular destinations in Vietnam as people enjoy the charm, colour, bustle and life of this beautiful, small town.

On this tour we will visit some of the town's immaculately preserved buildings such as the much photographed Japanese Bridge, the China Assembly Hall, and the Ancient  House as well as walking around the narrow streets and alleyways as we pass by the dazzling display of art, pottery, jewellery, shoes, fabrics and tailors that Hoi An is famous for.  There will be lots of opportunities to take photographs.

After we complete the tour of Hoi An we will start our food tour. Hoi An is famous for it's scrumptious food.  You will taste 6 different local specialities as well as Vietnamese coffee.  The dishes will be: Cao Lau (the local noodles), banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich), wontons, white rose dumplings, Rice pancake and Grilled pork.
